Which data we use, and why
Only what you submit through the contact form: your name, your email address, optionally a company name and your message. We use this data solely to reply and to start a possible collaboration. We don't use it for newsletters and we never sell it.
One technical cookie, no tracking of people
This website uses no third-party trackers. Only the contact form sets two technical cookies, which secure your session and the form itself and disappear as soon as you close the browser. On every other page we set nothing. We do count how often each page is viewed, but without a cookie and without storing your IP address or browser: those are turned into a code that changes every day, so a visit cannot be traced back to you or matched to another visit. Our hosting provider also keeps standard technical logs for security and troubleshooting.
How long we keep your message
We keep messages as long as needed to handle them, and at most twelve months after the last contact. If a collaboration follows, the retention periods that come with it apply.
Who else is involved
Messages from the form are delivered by email through an email provider acting as a processor. No data is stored outside the EEA without appropriate safeguards.
Your rights
You can view, correct or delete your data. One email to hallo@falka.nl is enough. Complaints can be filed with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
