What this involves
What happens every month
At a fixed time each month we install the security updates for the server and the software, and review the logs.
Staying accessible
We check accessibility with every change we make. A new photo without alternative text or a modified button can mean the site no longer meets the requirements.
A site built elsewhere
If your site was built by another party, we first check whether it is technically sound. Sometimes rebuilding is cheaper than continuing to repair it.
Included
- Hosting on a Hetzner server in Helsinki, with a secure connection (https)
- One .nl or .com domain in your name, which stays yours if you leave
- A daily backup stored away from the server, kept for 30 days
- A quarterly test that a backup restores completely
- Security updates for the server and the software, at one fixed time each month
- An alert to us as soon as your site is no longer reachable
- Up to 30 minutes a month for small changes, such as new text or different opening hours. Unused time does not carry over.
- An automated accessibility check of every page we change
Not included are email accounts, new pages or features, copywriting, major version upgrades of the software and paid third-party services. Major upgrades and new work get a fixed price up front. Your email will keep working on your domain, because we manage the settings for it.
Frequently asked questions
Does the monthly fee also apply to an online store?
Online stores and applications have their own plan, with an hour a month for changes, because they have more parts to maintain, such as payments and integrations. Everything else is the same.
What happens if our site goes down on a Saturday evening?
We are alerted automatically, and we start restoring the site as soon as we see the alert.
What if we want to move to another supplier in a year?
You can cancel the plan any month. The code and the data are yours, and we hand them over to you when you switch.
